No amplification
The item is only useful if the device doesn't have an external speaker. Even then the volume is low. It does not amplify the sound output from iPhone etc.

Unreliable results
My old home machine was in sync with the results at the doctor's office. This one gives me results that are wildly higher than normal. instead of being supportive that I am doing the right the right things, as my DR. says, it causes me stress that raises my numbers and keeps me from checking. It was a bargain. You get what you pay for.

Not worth it
Very flimsy.. hard to attach. Gets in the way of steering. You get what you pay for
