Works through 4 walls in house

I bought this Netgear N150 Router for my wife for Christmas in hopes that it would solve the problem of connecting from her DSL out in the converted-office garage through 4 walls, including an outside wall, with her new Roku (allows Netflix streaming to her TV) on top of her TV. Honestly, I was not sure it would work. For those interested I did get the Roku version which has a 802.11N receiver which should help, too. Well, the bottom line is that it worked! Occasionally, she has to reconnect, but for the most part movie watching is uninterrupted and looks as good as the DVD. So, the N150 is a very important part of this system. It was easy to set up, just follow the manual and read the downloadable recommendations on improving a connection, both are available from Netgear web site. A added feature is that she can now work in the house using her new wireless connection with her lap top computer which has the older G type wireless receiver and not get stuck in the garage office all day.

Excellent Wifi Speaker

Although, refurbished, it came looking like new. After downloading the app, set up was smooth, unlike the older Definitive W7 which it replaces because that suddenly died. Been using it daily with Spotify without incident. WIFI connects immediately, again unlike the Definitive. Sounds good and the app's tune up based on room acoustics noticeably improves the sound, when one is not listening right on top of the speaker. Not sure that conveys what I mean well: when I step back from the speaker into the dining room in my case, the sound is better, i.e. more full better spectral balance, than when on listens close to the speaker, where it sounds more flat and less bass and low end mid-range.
