Great lower cost red dot sight.
1 of 1 found this helpful It was shipped quick and arrived to my house on time. The scope works well. Not the quality of an aim point or eotech, but I never shoot in extended combat (or any combat) situations, so I don't need a sight of that caliber. It's mounted on my ar 15 chambered in 5.56/.223. I've put 500rnds through my rifle with this scope and it hold zero well (the set screws that hold the adjustment nobs help a lot with this). The green and red reticle settings are bright enough for daylight and cloudy shooting (any form of battery illuminated reticle really shouldn't be used for low light shooting; too bright). The dot is crisp. I will buy another one if I get another rifle that could benefit from one of these sights.

The mags are good
2 of 2 found this helpful The mags for the R.A.R. are good (actual mags from Ruger). They feed like the oem ones do and fit like the oem ones. The shipping was slow. It took a few days for them to ship, but once they did, maybe 3 or 4 days until I got them. If I need more, but not in a hurry, I'd buy then again.

Solid replacement for the bad plastic magazine catch
The mount is solid and I like that the pillar is there for bedding. After installing, my rifle seemed a good bit more stable in my stock and I cannot wait to shoot it. I did file the pillar to match my receiver, but did not have to modify the magazine catch, as my 4 mags locked in with no issue. If I had more stocks, I would buy more of these.
