Excellent Budget Stereo
I was a little hesitant with this purchase because the old saying goes, good stuff isnt cheap, cheap stuff isnt good. I was however pleasantly surprised when i fitted it and booted it up.
Ill start with -VALUE-
This is a great value if you're looking for a radio that works well, has mildy customizable features and are on a budget. It comes with nicely printed directions, some mounting hardware, a nice trim ring, a remote and pre-cut wiring harness.
-TOUCH SCREEN-
The screen has a protective film on it that i ended up leaving on for a little added protection. It is a nice screen that doesnt miss a beat when selecting through the menus. The colors are nice and clear and i didnt have any dead pixels on it. The physical buttons all feel good and crisp and work properly.
-FEATURES/SOUND-
This has a solid amount of features including a custom equalizer and also several preset equalizers. Bluetooth works perfectly. It has several settings for local radio stations, scanning, preset stations which are easily set. You have several groups of presets to set up I think somewhere near 12 fm stations you can preset. It has a small number on the home screen that if you touch you can quickly set the brightness or dimness from levels 1-6. You can set up your steering wheel controls if you have them. It has a full color spectrum set up on it or just set it to auto and it will cycle through around 10-15 diff colors. The only draw back is you have 3 backgrounds to choose from, all the same just a diff color i believe red, blue and green. You can also set up a reverse camera and watch movies/videos. I have 4 aftermarket speakers in my truck (2-6x9's and 2--5-1/4 door speaker) it has no problem getting those nice and loud it also has subwoofer and loud settings.
To conclude my brief review if you decide to get this i dont think you'll be disappointed. Its got everything the average sound guy would need and a bit more. If you want to be able to load your own background this unit is not for you and really thats its only con in my opinion. I would absolutely buy this again or suggest it to a friend. I usually only review products i feel pretty strongly about whether good or bad. This one is a good one.

Good sound, not super loud.
3 of 3 found this helpful Put this one a 2002 Sierra 6.0. Had duals ran out. Sounds great. Good idle rumble. Good under load as well. Not super aggressive but loud enough to hear it. Slight drone with the music off.

Standard issue
Had a prob with my gopro hero 3 m. Wouldn't turn on or work. Spent some cheap cash to see if that was the case and got some decent batts. Excellent for the price actually. Can't complain one bit.
