Cured my heat pump noise problem

I had a new water-source heat pump installed. It consists of the compressor and fan of the heat pump, and a water pump to pump the water through it. The whole system was quite noisy, especially since it was in a closet, inside the house, off the dining room. I lined the closet with this sound-absorbing material, and it really cut down the noise. The dining room is quiet now. Open the closet door (lined with the sound absorbing material also) with the system running, and you can get an idea how noisy it was. The material is light and easy to install. I mounted it to the walls with double-stick tape (get the good stuff). I think it looks kind of neat too, with the grooved pieces arranged in a checkerboard. I know you're supposed to use it with musicians, but I'd rather not hear the heat pump, and listen to the music.

Worked on my van and Tacoma

I bought two of these. I got the first one for my old Tacoma, and it was great. I could see traffic behind me, and in lanes to either side. The only downside was that it was larger than the factory mirror, and the sun visors would hit it when you put them down. I got one for my van, and it was great, also. I could see all the passengers, the lane behind me, and catch glimpses of cars passing on both sides. Better location on the van did not interfere with the visors. I would highly recommend one of these if you want to know what's going on behind you.

Jell ink writes like a liquid

This is jelled ink, and it writes like it was liquid. Starts feeding ink as soon as it hits the paper, and makes a dense blue (I got blue) line with very little pressure. Haven't found any paper it won't write on, and do a good job. Really works well. Can't say how long it will last yet, but it does feed a lot of ink, so life might be short. Very happy with it.
