Writing For The Government by Libby Allison & Miriam Williams, Allyn & Bacon

    Learn the Lingo
This book explains why government publications sound the way they do--well because they have to. Government does have it's own distinct language. The book is for aspiring technical writers (people who will produce government publications) but it would also be a good 'translator guide' for the general public.
Global Business Today, Hill, Charles W. L., GOOD CONDITION!

    Journey to New Places
I am not at all a business person. But this book made it very easy to understand terms and follow along. I was essentially able to 'teach myself' international business just by reading this textbook. It's easy to read and laid out fairly well. If you have an instructor who actually knows what they are doing, the course will be very fun.
The Travels of a T-Shirt in the Global Economy: An Economist... (ExLib)

    Coming undone
This book really doesn't explain socioeconomic realities in a global environment. It ignores the global challenges which workers with disabilities and/or immigrants specifically face. I wouldn't recommend it for a modern class on economic policy Or leisure reading.
