The song celestial
1 of 1 found this helpful I had a copy many years ago and misplaced it. So glad to have this edition again. The pocket-size is perfect. Thank God there are great book stores like this that still have it available(dinasaur that I am, I still like paper).This is really the best version of the Bahgavad Gita I have read. Many people find the biblical style English cumbersome but I revel it. I cannot speak to the accuracy of any translations of this work but I find this style has a richness and fullness, a beauty and profundity I do not feel reading modern english. It has a loft and esteem to it that creates a quality of mood wherein you know that it is speaking to,evoking your higher "Self". I think any version of this work that seeks to simply simplify without regard to losing the depth of tone,cadence and complexity is like handing someone a half dead battery. This is not reading one ploughs through like a high school homework assignment. This is an immersion. An invitation to a celestial gala. This is an elegant redention that is well worth the extra effort it may take some (myself included) to comprehend and absorb.If you find it too laborious then by all means read some other modernized english versions to get an idea of what is being said, but come back to this translation when you are more "matured" in this work and compare them and see what think. I hope this version will be around a long time.

super suction
I'm a senior and grew up thinking that good quality appliances had to be big old heavy steel contraptions and I turned my nose up at plastic machinery as overpriced toys. But the power of this machine has me quite impressed. It does a fabulous job. I had a layer of dust on my basement staircase that was so thick and had been there so long it had actually matted and lay there like a layer of rough skin. This vacuum sucked it up with total ease. No choking or sputtering. No dust filling the air. It worked so well I did my other stairs and baseboards. The vacuum bag was so packed when I removed it I was surprised that the vacuum had not lost suction when in use. Excellent value. So just this one time set aside your plastic prejudice and feel confident that this is money well spent.

Cool Can
1 of 1 found this helpful I think this is meant for use in an office setting but I bought it for use in my kitchen and its great. There is no inner plastic bin so I use a 13 gallon garbage bag inside and set the top over it and it works fine. The bottom is completely sealed so there are no openings for rodents or creepy crawlies to get in. It is very sleek and attractive and works smoothly. Would recommend for kitchen or office.
