Bells and whistles not included...
Have been renting a similar unit for 6 months, bought this to offset my cable company's unreasonable new rental fees. Modem is very basic but enables high speed connection and is the same unit the cable company provides. Other units can be tweaked, but this unit has the set up parameters locked, may not be a big deal. Unit has been running 24/7 for several weeks without any issues.

The humble strike almost anywhere match.
2 of 2 found this helpful For some reason matches are hard to find in the stores these days, even more so the strike anywhere types, but there are times when only a match will do. More reliable than a gas lighter, quicker than rubbing two pieces of wood together, albeit less entertaining, and much less toxic than the glass matches you crush in your teeth.
These are strike almost anywhere matches, and seem to work well when struck on the box or a rough dry stone surface. The box is not water proof, neither is it intended to be. You can seal the box in a plastic bag to keep dry if needed. A handy tip, cut a milkshake straw to size, place a few matches inside and seal crimp the ends. Now you have a handy match in a waterproof container you can carry in your wallet, you never know when you need a fire, but make fire responsibly.

Great budget mono-light
0 of 3 found this helpful A great value mono-light, with a decent 250w/s output, 300 if you include the model lights. As a bonus, the package includes a good light stand, radio remote and a soft box. Recharge time is acceptable, in the order of a couple of seconds. I ran this for two events as a fill light without any issues, and could easily have used it as my main light. No complaints, just two observations, the umbrella mount is for a 7mm shaft, not the 15mm and the ready buzzer is a little quiet in a reception environment, no volume adjust.
