Finally an umbrella worth it’s salt
I’ve been through so many cheap umbrellas that haven’t lasted the course. Finally got this just in time for a two week storm and it measured up. The auto open/close function is pretty handy, and the umbrella is decently strong; it hasn’t blown inside out on me at all. The metal stretchers and overall frame also look a sturdy material, definitely much better than the cheap metals from other umbrellas that rust and break under strong pressure. Time will tell if it remains this way. The umbrella is small but its coverage is sufficient for one individual, and it’s small size once folded and light weight are extremely ideal for portability. My only comment is that that when you click the auto close button, it only collapses the fabric canopy and metal stretchers but not the central shaft, which you have to push down with considerable force to click it so that it firmly closes. Otherwise it springs back open. It takes a bit of getting used to, and for someone small like me it’s a two-armed job which is not ideal when you are carrying lots. But I can live with this, and it’s otherwise a solid umbrella.
