Eyewitness Egypt, a good thumbnail guide
Eyewitness Egypt, like other Eyewitness guides is comprehensive, interesting, and easy to read. It offers numerous thumbnail articles on everything from sites in Cairo, to a history of the ruling dynasties, to recent government of Egypt. Articles are pretty brief and easy to read. They are accompanied by good photos and illustrations. The book is compact and solidly made on high quality paper and with a sturdy cover so it travels well. If I were to take only one book it would be this one, though I am traveling to Egypt with a group. If I were traveling on my own to Egypt my one book would be Lonely Planet. You can't go wrong with either one.

Charge your phone while transfering data from phone to flash memory
Great item, hard to find.... well built and well priced. This OTG cable allows you to simultaneously transfer data from your phone to a USB thumb drive (or to a SD or SD micro card mounted on a card reader) while charging the phone. I like to back up my photos when traveling in case I lose my camera, it gets stolen or lost, etc. With this device I can back up the SD card by plugging it into a card reader, and that into this USB OTG (On the Go) cable. Also I can back up photos or other data from my phone (which has a pretty decent camera of its own) onto a USB thumb drive or SD card. This is handy enough - though other OTG cables are pretty easy to find. What makes this device unique is that it allows me to simultaneously plug in the USB-A (the large "male" plug) into a USB charger so that I can simultaneously charge my phone while making the transfer. This way I can transfer huge amounts of data without worrying about the phone running out of power while midway through the task. Great item that I haven't been able to find anywhere else!

The almost perfect everyday carry flashlight and the best for the money there is!

In fact I have it with me 24/7 because I wear one from the chain on my neck so that I can easily navigate my way to the bathroom at night, for possible emergencies, etc. It is flat and compact so I don't even feel it when sleeping and it doesn't show beneath my shirt by day. I always have it with me! Despite its tiny size it will run at a bright enough level to walk outside, to read a book, to walk around the house etc. for 55 hours on a single charge. At the highest level it will run for over an hour and it is very bright at that level, enough to work on a broken item at night, to change a car tire at night, to work on a fuse box. It's very inexpensive and is easily and quickly recharged with a USB micro power adapter, the same one I use to charge my phone. I have another on my keychain and others throughout the house and in my car. I give it only 4 stars, however, because of the dozen I have had, I had one that was defective right out of the box. It wouldn't light and when I disassembled it to see why, I found that one of the tiny wires had never been soldered to the circuit board. When I touched the loose wire to the right spot, it lit right up. One of these days I'll try to solder it on myself. Also, another one had its plastic housing break as it was hanging on my necklace and I was asleep in bed. I cannot imagine why it would break then because it was under little or no stress. I have carried one on my keychain for years without any visible damage or wear and nobody was attempting to strangle me with my necklace at the time! I have read in Amazon reviews that reliability is a bit weak. For my money, they would be wise to improve QC (quality control) a bit and raise the price a dollar or two. Fortunately, my Ebay dealer happily and quickly replaced it for free. Despite this issue, this is the best flashlight going for my money and if I could have only one flashlight (I have 20!) this would be it.
