Good sights -- but let the pros install them
Installed these sights on my M&P Shield with some level of difficulty. Removing the original sights was tough because of the design of the rear sight. The press wouldn't work, even after a lot of penetrating oil and a considerable amount of driving with different (non-marring) punches. Both the front and rear were finally removed and these sights installed. Again, with difficulty. The dovetails are super tight (good thing) and doing this project yourself is not recommended. Give in and take the sights to a gunsmith and let them do the heavy lifting.
The good news is that these are super bright and show up well at night. Much better than the factory sights (simple white three-dot system) so I'm more confident carrying my pistol even in low light conditions.
