A better edge
10 of 10 found this helpful The work sharp knife sharpener works great once you get the hang of it. I like it for knives that are old and have extremely dull or damaged edges or ones that have been ground at a poor angle. The main difference between the Ken Onion edition and the standard one is belt width. The standard work sharp belts are a half inch wide while the KO edition belts are 3/4 of an inch wide, which gets the job done faster.
The down side is the time it takes to learn how to properly use the sharpener and knowing when to get new belts.

Bill Nelson's on going music
As always with any recordings from Bill Nelson, you get a variety of styles of music. This cd fits well with all his work with a return to straight forward guitar work and smooth vocals. I was disappointed in reading the liner notes that his first intention of this work was to have a band which I would have looked forward to instead of him playing all the instruments. He is extremely talented but different artist in a band might have brought forth more depth and a new "freshness". But being a fan since BeBop Deluxe days any work Mr. Nelson does is a joy.

Sharp out of the box?
2 of 2 found this helpful The knife was extremely dull out of the box I could easily run my finger down the edge. All the reviews I read mentioned razor sharp. It also had a defect on the edge and the wood handle had some kind of orange brown stuff on it and was very rough. I sanded down the handle a put some linseed oil on it. I also am having the blade professionally sharpened. As a knife user and collector for over 15 years I am very disappointed in this knife and Condor quality control since it is obvious the knife was never completely finished.
