One of the Better Stereo SACD Hybrid Recordings I've Heard
Well recorded and definitely superior to the standard CD in definition, depth, soundstage and realism. Not going to say its the best SACD I've heard, but it is definitely one of the better Hybrids I've heard,,,especially for a stereo recording (no 5.1). Sorry,,,no time to type the full analysis, other than I am very happy with the product. Running: Paradigm Studio 100 V.2, Emotiva XMC-1 PreAmp, Monolith 7 Amp, Integra DPS-8.3 SACD Player; AudioQuest Mackenzie River Interconnects; Mapleshade Double Helix Plus Wire.

Wonderfully natural and detailed SACD, but...
The choir and hall echo comes thru in a beautifully natural way on this SACD. nothing overly bright or harsh....very natural and live sound to the album. Its drawback is a high level of hiss apparent in the silent passages, if you want to turn up the volume for full live effect....it is a disappointment in that regard and detracts from the enjoyment I had hoped to find in this recording.

Best hi def Christmas CD
This is my 3rd Christmas CD on a hi def format, and I must say, it is the first to live up to the potential of the format. A great recording of truly enjoyable christmas music. Great product without price consideration....throw in the low low low price tag, and it's a must have.
