Great vacuum!
1 of 1 found this helpful Easy and even fun to use. It's entertaining to watch the clear plastic cylinder fill up with debris as you're using it. Although there are three power settings, low seems to work best for our short-pile carpets. Med or high causes the vacuum to be harder to move, as the suction holds the unit down too tight. Also, on the low setting there is plenty of battery time to do the entire two-story house. Just wish Dyson made an alternative shorter, half to one third-length rigid wand to allow for one hand operation in tighter spaces. The optional flex extension requires two-hand operation.
Sorry I waited so long to buy one of these.
