Built much better than a newer Dremel
I got this to replace a much newer Dremel 3000 that broke, and so far I am very impressed. While it does have a slightly less powerful motor than the newer ones, it more than makes up for it by just being a much better built tool. It feels much more solid, there's no wiggle or play on anything, and what stood out the most is how steady it is. I don't know if I just had a bad 3000, but that thing used to vibrate pretty bad even at low speeds. This one is rock solid at all speeds, which makes a huge difference for precise detail work, which is mostly what I use a Dremel for.
Bottom line - if you don't need a ton of power, buy an older Dremel.

Perfect all-purpose tripod
I seriously cannot recommend this enough! It weighs next to nothing, it fits in my camera bag and yet somehow manages to extend to 61", it's super sturdy, the ball head is smooth enough for basic video... I could go on, but you probably wouldn't be reading reviews if you hadn't already looked at the specs, so I'll stop repeating what you already know. The bottom line is - I use this professionally, I love it, and for the record, nobody paid me to say any of this - I am not affiliated with the seller or Zomei.

Accurate and reliable
2 of 2 found this helpful It seems pretty accurate, and has done a perfectly good job weighing all my.. uhh.... specimens. The little calibration weights are a nice add-on!
