A bit SMARMY & OVERBLOWN but---
0 of 1 found this helpful I'm kinda of a BELATED Celine Dion fan, but when she's on her game she CAN be verrrrry captivating (that new rendition of Heart's "ALONE" she sings---one of my VERY FAVORITE Heart songs of all time---is rather good, I think), and more often than not with THIS 1998 DVD, she IS. It's a wee bit SMARMY and OVERBLOWN sometimes but certainly ENTERTAINING, too. (My favorite track: "Beauty & the Beast")

This Indigo Girls DVD is GRRRRRRRRRRREAT!!!!!!!
I've been a HUGE Indigo Girls fan for many years, and THIS concert DVD vividly illustrates why Amy Ray and Emily Saphier have been able to produce sooooooo MANY albums over the years---ALL of them GREAT!!! Wish there were ALOT more such concert films of them performing together (they have AMAZING on-stage chemistry, both with EACH other and the AUDIENCE, too!!!) but in any case this DVD is a MUST-SEE for any "fan" out there!!!

GREAT DVD-VHS Player I HIGHLY Recommend!!! A++++
2 of 2 found this helpful As with a number of other people apparently, I SPECIFICALLY made a point of getting this particular Emerson VCR-DVD player model because the first one of these I bought many years ago I actually got at a yard sale, and yet despite having been used "many" times by the family I bought it from, it lasted me nearly SEVEN YEARS, during which time I used both the DVD player and the VCR quite often (the optical scanner for the DVD player eventually did wear out, but the VCR was still going strong and for all I know might've lasted several more years or more)!!
Definitely a HIGH QUALITY machine and one that I strongly recommend to people who want a player that will STAND THE TEST OF TIME. A+++
