If you have to have an iPhone AND you have to have a small form factor, than the SE is really your only modern option.
7 of 19 found this helpful My goal in getting this device was to evaluate moving to the iOS platform. Had one of the first iPhone models but moved to Android and stayed there for the past 12 years. Decided to try again, but found the same set of challenges of an extremely closed, inflexible ecosystem and environment. As for the form factor, it is quite small (coming from a phablet). In fact, I think it is too small to be effective as a media consumption device. Moving to the next size up would improve the experience dramatically, without making it too bulky. In the end, I'm gonna stick with my android and donate this thing to my friends' kids.
