Love & Family win again
this is #4 in a Hopes Crossing series, yet the story stands alone. I enjoy all RaeAnne Thaynes books. She tells stories similar to Debbie Macomber. If you enjoy either author, you will love the other.

Good Expectations
Good story. Want to read all the other Fortunes of Texas stories. This story predicted a fairly certain outcome, but getting there was a fun read. The boy meets girl, girl gets the boy, they live happily ever after is usually a fair summary of these type romances. However I do enjoy a continuing link or a long family history coming together, as the Fortunes Of Texas or The Texas Brands, stories do. Thanks to all the authors who bring us these compelling stories.

Mae West, A True Belle
Being a Mae West fan, I try to read everything she has written, or that was written about her. I have seen almost all her movies, and hope to complete my collection soon. This movie shows the talented, bigger than life Ms West at her most dazzling. Her wit and timing is flawless. The saucy naughtiness Mae West is known for is memorable in this role as Ruby Carter. She plays off her co stars, Roger Pryor and john Mack Brown to perfection yet allows them to shine in their roles. Known for writing most of quips as well as the lyrics she sings, she never fails to deliver. Ms Wests' classic, comic style is delightfully entertaining, in Belle of the Nineties. Fans of the famous Burlesque musicals will enjoy this as well as Mae West fans.
