Awesome Hard Rock CD from NYC Band SLUNT
This is one of the best CDs that I have purchased in the past several years. Every song on it is good and the band that produced it is an up and coming band that you should be hearing about for years to come. The CD contains 13 tracks including the single "The Best Thing". This band is made of up of some really cool people that have opened for Marilyn Manson and Motorhead already in their young career. It is worth any price that you will pay for it. Fronted by former MTV VJ Abby Jennet, this band has an old school sound that has been often compared to AC/DC. I highly recommend this CD to anyone that wants a good CD from begining to end and just wants to have a good time listening to it.

Great Hard Rock Album
SLUNT's "One Night Stand" album is a great hard rock album that will take you back to the hard rock/metal of the 80's and early 90's. The album is chocked full of songs that are often rather...how to put this...dirty in nature. If you can't tell by their name, they don't take themselves too seriously. In the words of frontwoman and former MTV VJ Abby Gennet "we don't like to bring people down, we just like to bring it" and One Night Stand certainly does just that. Songs like "Dirty Blonde" will remind you of AC/DC in their prime, while the song "Lost Girl" is very original. The guitar of Pat Herrington leads the way with a gritty, heavy sound that is contrasted by the delicious vocals of Gennet. The rhythm section of Jhen Kobran on Bass and Charles Ruggerio on Drums is one to be reckoned with. All and all this is a great cd that would be a good addition to any fan of rock and roll. www.myspace.com/slunt to hear more....later...and rock on!!!!
