A reasonably priced cure.
Super $40 cure for inconsistent readings on cloudy days. It fits my F1 Chrony with no modifications. I just used my Chrony support rods as the Caldwell rods are slightly smaller & loose in the base unit. Perfect because one cannot build a battery pack & the LED’s for the price you can buy one of these for.

The original last printing has all the tubes including 8417’s and there is no unreadable thin type like the. Reprints have.
