Tutu in situ!
This little cat was pure serendipity..So glad this book was produced. Hemingway would be proud.
Over Xmas I visited the Hemingway house and marveled at all the zillions of very aloof cats in Hemingway's yard that wanted no contact at all with the zillions of humans taking cell-phone pictures of them. Hemingway's cats are totally tired of the celebrity of their 6 toes!!! ...Then, upon leaving the property, through the back gate at closing time, the tour guide opened the door for me and there sat (I assume now) "Tutu" laying on the curb by a car tire...The tour guide immediately said" That cat can't come in here...don't let that cat in!" "Tutu" was flopped down on the sidewalk and proceeded with "blinks-eyes," allowing a petting, and gleaming at the attention. This worked on the next person exiting Hemingway's gate as well...I laughed out-loud when I turned the corner of the street to see an ad on a picket fence for the book ""Tutu" the almost Hemingway cat"....Realizing, the very personable outside-the-compound cat I had just met was Tutu....So funny...so real...I bought this book online when I returned home. It gave me great pleasure to know Tutu does not go unnoticed for all the amiable charm a cat should have...something the jaded Hemingway cats lost long ago.
