Great for i86
1 of 1 found this helpful A PERFECT Motherboard for i86 machines. Grateful to find it still available as replacement. IMHO, it's a great choice for Win XP diehards (such as myself) who refuse to the pay the fortune in new software precipitated by any move to Win 7-10. Lightning fast with a (separately purchased) Core 2 CPU - mine's an Intel QX6850 Kentfield @ 3.0GHzwith an added cooler. The CPU is still running strong after 11 years, and will be transferred to the new MB.
Caution - new games may require even greater CPU capability and RAM. mine's a business machine well-served by this hardy board and CPU.

Great - but...
Have used these for years, and am delighted. They're not up to modern speed standards for new games, but they're otherwise outstanding.
