First step in customizing your 1377

I purchased the Crosman 1377 with the intention of creating an inexpensive custom air pistol. Before firing it a single time the plastic receiver was changed out for this steel one. This provided a sound base for the attachment of a quality red dot sight. Other cosmetic changes have been made but none would have improved accuracy. This Crosman has duplicated the accuracy of my IZH46 many times.

Good quality air pistol that is not expensive.

A year ago I discovered the wide variety of modifications available for the 1377 allowing you to create a custom pistol. This reminded me of the corresponding industry that allows the building of a custom Ruger 10/22 which I did ten years ago. This is a fine pistol that would be a pleasure to shoot with no modifications. But, you are inclined to modify and improve this can serve as the beginning point for a very enjoyable hobby.

Well made short base made for T/C Contender

This base was perfect for the miniature red dot sight I’m using on my pistol. Prior to finding this base I had expected to shorten a much longer base which was for use with scopes.
