Keep your clippers alive!
Exact replacement! They don't sell these anymore at any of the stores that used to sell the grass shears. These will help keep your cutters going. They cut great!

Powerful and long lasting
I know that things work unbelievably good when they are brand new, so I will edit this review in the future if conditions so warrant it. To stay in the present, the price was good on this and my old grass shears (3.6V) lasted about 15 years or so and finally would not take a charge anymore, so I purchased this. Took a few days for it to show up, and needs to be charged out of the box before its first use. After reading the manual, it seems this doesn't have its own auto shut off after it is charged so that complicates charging a bit as I had to set an alarm on my phone to take it off the charger. The next day I got to use it for the first time. The power was amazingly strong (7.2V) and it is important to keep your fingers out of the way or you will definitely lose one or several of them. The blades are very sharp and cut very well. The other incredible thing is I cut all the places needed on my lawn, and as I am taking care of the neighbor's place while they are trying to sell, I did their entire front and back as well as a large patch on the side and the clippers were STILL going! My old shears would have died long before I barely got into doing anything on the neighbor's place. You can feel the power in your hand while using them. So far, I am very happy with this purchase and do recommend these to anybody needing a handheld grass shear. UPDATE : This shear cut my spots and the neighbors three times before needing to be charged! The battery lasts very long! Excellent!
