Nice little adapter

I needed one for my mini laptop, I didn't need one with all the extra USB ports so I chose this one.. Ironically it works as well as my colleagues who paid 4 x as much for his! The quality isn't as good but then again, I was interested in function not aesthetics!

surprisingly good!

At the price my expectations were low, however, these exceeded all of my expectations. The actual blades appear to be of hardened steel and reasonable quality so, short of trying to cut steel with them they cut all woods, some smaller aluminum and copper pipes without any problems. The one issue that I experienced was that the clamp screw is a; 'one fits all' so when smaller blades are used the depth is limited.

If you look carefully at the image you will notice the center is misshapen.

The quality is terrible, the center is lose and it isn't the same shape as the outer sections, thus your device will always lean to one side or the other. I didn't expect much for the price but this takes the expectations to the level of; just as well because it is almost unusable. Take the center piece out (or wait for it to fall out which it often does) and place your VERY small phone length ways and it is okay, until the adhesive pads warm up slightly and the whole thing falls on the floor.
