Cooking Again!
Genuine GE Part. Works great. When the switch went bad, it caused the element to burn up. Replaced both the switch and element and everything has been working perfectly for 2 weeks now.

Good fit and seal
They work fine. My bike pump doesn't seal well on presta valves, so I use these schrader adapters to get the seal needed.

Nice part
Been using it daily for over a week and it works well. Also, replaced the selector switch that turns the burner off and on. The switch went bad which apparently caused the surface unit burner to overheat and burn through it's thin metal spiral element. NOTE: the wire hook up terminals on the new element where in changed locations from that of the old element, which was not obvious at a glance. The terminals are numbered 1a, 1b, 2a, & 2b where the wires connect to the element. Because 2 of the terminals where switched to opposite sides on the new part, the "as is" stove wiring was barely long enough to reach. To reach, I had to cut some tape away from the wire harness, which gave enough slack to lengthen the wires to reach. Hope this helps.
