Excellent! 47 of the best architectural/landscape Canaletto drawing reproduction prints on paper.

The Dover Art Library series of books...is well worth owning...because of the 'quality' of their admittedly 'black and white' reproductions/(no colours here)...; but, the prints are, usually, well chosen; also, included is a short foreword about the artist life/history/times.
Personally speaking, I would love to be able to collect the whole entire series. These books are short in length...as there are only 47 reproductions; so very easy to store/carry/'share' with anybody else. I regard it as being an excellent introduction to each individual artists work.

Highly Definitive Picasso Biography/3 book series/500 pages/Small pictures
PICASSO BIOGRAPHY - THE MOST HIGHLY DEFINITIVE - 3 BOOK SERIES - EACH BOOK 500 PAGES LONG - WITH THE MAIN EMPHASIS BEING PLACED MORE ON WORDS/PICTURES ARE NOT FULL SIZE BUT SMALL
First, let me say that...Picasso, is my most fav. artist in the whole wide world. Therefore, I'm deeply interested in buying up all books concerning his works.
Thus, I feel I am well able to compare this series of books against all of the rest. It beats the rest of books in terms of sheer length/size; with each book in the 3 part series containing 500+ pages; which show his life right from the very beginning. It also beats the rest of books in terms of having more illustrations; with an illustration being shown on every single page.
Where the series falls down is...it's mainly word based; meaning, whereas other books will concentrate on showing full page size pictures; this one mostly shows tiny pictures, instead; thus, it's not a very easy book to draw/copy from.
If it's mainly words you're after; then, I would say 'buy' it.
If it's mainly reproduction pictures/photos you're after; then, I would say go and 'buy' some other book, instead; which offers full page size reproductions of the artists works; instead, of tiny size reproductions.
