Handy storage device! Feels like it will last a long time.
1 of 1 found this helpful This thing is a large chunk of silicon, hoping that means it will stay in one piece for a long time.
The cup holders are pretty tight, combined with the weight of the holder this means my water bottle won't fall over. This also means it is hard to pull out with one hand.
The rest of the storage works very well, I keep my eye glasses and phone in it and they never move.
Mine was a little smaller (side to side) than photo suggests but it still is a good fit and I am glad I bought it.

Stays put, helps distribute coffee but scratches the PF, 4 stars if it didn't
'Does it brew quickly?' I interpreted as meaning is it quick & easy to use.
The shape and size of this ring works well with a Ceado e37s grinder and probably other similar grinders.
It won't fit into the portafilter holder on a Compak OD grinder, or similar grinder that grabs the rim of the basket. FYI
The good thing about this ring is that it really grabs the PF so you can give your espresso a nice shake to get rid of that lump the grinder leaves in the middle of the basket. Once you have your espresso distributed all you have to do is give the PF a good tap so the espresso is lower than the ring and while holding it down on a solid surface you can slip the ring off without loosing any grounds then tamp.
The ONLY downside to this is - most portafilters are made of a dense, soft metal that is chrome plated. After using the ring for a week or so I noticed scrapes on the side of the PF where the ring grabs.
That means there's a trade off, the ring is on tight which is GREAT for moving espresso grounds around in the basket without loosing anything. The downside is it'll scrape the side of the PF.
If you are willing to live with the scrapes, this ring is for you- consider this a 4 star review. If you're not, buy a dosing funnel like that from Lyn Weber and keep your PF pristine.

Sillyness in the style and era of Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein
The last time I saw this movie was a LONG time ago on a VHS rental tape no doubt. Maybe even in a theatre. So there is some bias on my part as I remember it fondly to begin with.
Still, after watching it with someone who had not seen it I feel this film holds up. It moves along at a decent pace, and is filled with all kinds of humor. We recently watched Spaceballs and I can say that this one holds up better after all this time. Perhaps that is due to the scene setting music that is missing in Spaceballs.
While this film is recommended for mature audiences it doesn't have any flesh or blood, simply adult humor. Along the lines of Airplane, or a Mel Brooks film, with maybe a dash of Monty Python for good measure.
Hamilton playing a parody of (his?) typical Hollywood leading man is done well, and he manages to pull off a few distinct personalities with the help of both make up and wardrobe.
Each actor does his / her part, Leibman in particular.
It's silly, fun and a very nice distraction from real life which is what it should be!
