Compact and easy to use

This air fryer is perfect for a kitchen with limited space. The footprint is 30cm x 30cm and it fits neatly underneath the cupboards. Inside the tray will take a 22cm x 22cm container. We have used it for roasting, frying and reheating and everything has been a success. Food crisps and browns as expected and stays very tender and succulent, at lower temp and less time than conventional cooking. There is very little heat or steam coming from the machine while it is in use. The only downside is that our home WiFi doesn't make it easy to connect to the app or to Alexa, but the fryer is so simple to use that hasn't been a problem.

Foolproof Setup

The charger comes well packaged with easy to follow instructions. Using the OBD port it is impossible to connect it wrongly. During Covid19 lockdown it is keeping my Mercedes A180 charged while it's parked up for days and only used for essential, short distance shopping trips. The panel produces a charge on cloudy days as indicated by a flashing LED. Only improvement - an LED to indicate that the battery is fully charged would be a nice feature.

A Charming Version of the Ancient Classic

I have been attending Tai Chi classes for a few months and decided to delve a little deeper into its history and theory. A Google search for "best version of Tao Te Ching" included this book and I was drawn to it because I have read the authors fictional works starting as a child with the Wizard of Earthsea series. Thinking about her recent death made the accidental discovery of this version resonate for me. The book itself is uncomplicated in all respects and seems personal rather than super-scholarly. The layout, translation and explanatory notes make it accessible and easy to read. Having said that there are verses that I have had to reread a few times. Sometimes because they are so beautiful, but also sometimes because on first reading I have been a bit baffled and need to get the words straight in my head. I am enjoying the challenge I am currently reading in sequence from start to finish and I am finding favourite verses that I know I will come back to time and again.
