A lot thinner than my originals.
Aluminum is a lot thinner than original. actually bent it slightly when carefully putting it on. They make a more expensive version which I ended up buying, much better quality. Don't waste your money on the cheap one like I did, buy it once and be done with it...

Easy to change out, works great.
easy to change, works great. Just make sure you purge the air out of it using the water dispenser.
