Just what I wanted!
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a magickal herb, often carried for protection. I generally use whole pieces; I prefer not to cut or break them. The ounce I was sent included several pieces, enough for various projects.

Even teens love creepy spiders!
I purchased these spider rings for a Halloween party we were putting on for a large group of teenagers. We scattered the spiders around and boy! did they ever look creepy! And we told the kids to helps themselves - and they did - and not a one was left at the end of the night.
Really great value!

I learned more about a lesser known part of recent history
This is a historical novel about a a little known aspect of Twentieth Century history - the internment of the Roma people - called Gypsies - in Nazi concentration camps. The tragedy of the Jews has been well documented but there were others also subjected to Nazi persecution: in addition to the so-called Gypsies, homosexuals, political dissidents and persons with mental and/or physical disabilities were deemed not worthy to live.
Doughty tells the story of a family, and of one son in particular. Despite the horrors experienced during the war, both in the camp and outside, she leaves a bit of hope at the end.
