Procol Harum - Something Magic

Brand new and well packaged.
This is a much overlooked Procol Harum album, which I've loved since buying the vinyl in the late '70's. Missed hearing it so really glad to re connect with this cd. Superb!!

Decent piece of kit!!
0 of 1 found this helpful Pretty decent piece of kit, connects directly to PC/laptop...no other power source needed. Installation with CD a doddle. Put slide in carrier push orange button and it's done! Carrier only takes 4 slides at a time, so scanning a great number is a real boring pain!! However, did my large collection over couple of days and pretty happy with results. Others have commented on the flimsy carrier and the are right! However just being careful and taking it easy, it does the job fine. For the bargain price of this unit it does the job pretty well!

First album since 'Well's on Fire'
Novum is a fab album just what you'd expect from Procol Hurum. Saw the band in Edinburgh May 6th 2017 and enjoyed hearing Novum tracks then although, as usual, first hearing does not always impress me. However, tune were going through my mind so had to buy this album....thank gawd!! Superb stuff and although nothing written by Keith Reid, Gary and the rest of the band are on fine form with this collection of songs. My personal favs are 'I told on you', 'Soldier', 'Don't get caught' and....the rest of the album!! Gary's unique voice is still there....and that makes this and all Procol's albums!! Although I don't think 'Novum' surpasses 'Wells on Fire' ( buy this too...just superb, almost as good as 'Grand Hotel'!! ) it's a great album for your collection, whether you're a die hard Procol Harum fan or just a lover of good music!!
