Unfortunately, the stereo unit had the same common issues that you'll find with this model, the 1770NEX. You could turn it on and sometime it would work fine, but then other times, you'd see colored lines across the screen or it'd just get stuck on the opening Pioneer screen. I had to send it back and buy another one.

It's perfect for bikepacking, mountain biking, or even long hikes. Doesn't budge!
So far, so excellent! I'm using this lightweight pack for bikepacking and just did a 3-day Oregon Coast weekend trip from Portland and it functioned phenomenally! It truly does not bounce around, at all, and will also use it mountain biking. I've gone away from packs the last 5 years or so with the invention of things like Specialized SWAT bib and more on bike storage, but this pack makes me grateful again to have plenty of water on me for the duration of a longer ride. Highly recommend!
