Better than oem
The original plastic latch snapped off on a cold day two years ago. I replaced it with one of these, no problems since then.

Great tool!
This sander is well built and easy to use, slower speeds seem to work well with 120 grit sandpaper, I haven't tried at the higher speed settings yet.
The hose will not directly fit on my shop vac and it comes with an adaptor that doesn't seem like it fits anything, however a 1-1/2" x 2" rubber fernco plumbing fitting from the hardware store works perfectly to get it connected.
Works great and almost all the dust goes into the vac instead of into the room, you will want to use a dust bag in the shop vac instead of just the filter though.
I wish I had bought one of these sanders a long time ago!
