NO Audio Option For Original Language!
Why in the world would they release this without the option to choose the original Czech language?!? It only has the LOUSY English Dub!!! GARBAGE!!!! I like this version of Alice, but without the original audio, NO thanks! I'll pass.

Nice transfer of the movie (except near the beginning), but not enough special features.
Although it's a dated post punk movie, it still resonates when you think about how many bands are sucked into selling out when signed to a major record deal, which is what is seen at the end of this movie. It would've been nice if this DVD had included the original ending as a special feature, maybe Criterion or Shout Factory, (hint, hint). Wishful thinking. And with one of The Professional's best songs featured, it brings back memories of the gold ol' days. A good cult classic all around. The copy I received was in REALLY good condition, and at a good price.

Great cult classic film about the end of the disco era.
Whit Stillman delivers more of his dry humor, following in the footsteps of his previous films (Metropolitan and Barcelona). Unfortunately, the Last Days of Disco was slightly buried during the same year another disco era movie was released, Studio 54 (which wasn't even all that interesting). I found this film MUCH more enjoyable! Of course I could be biased, since I LOVE Chloe Sevigny. The film shows the day to day life of working class young people just out looking for a good time, sometimes in the wrong places. Being almost 25 years old (released way back in 1998), I guess this movie is now considered a cult classic. And as usual, the Criterion Blu-Ray is packed with many special features. I'm glad to finally receive a copy for my ever increasing collection.
