Choose Hyland's over Actifed
1 of 1 found this helpful I live in a forest and when the pollen comes out in the spring, it comes out in force. You can see it floating like tiny snow flakes. I'll wash my truck and within a few minutes you can see the pollen coating all over it. Then the dogs bring a dose of pollen in from the outside and my nose is in big trouble. My nose starts running like a faucet.
I'm not sure why Actifed works for me while others don't. It knocks out my itchy, runny nose, congestion and watery eyes. And I'm grateful for the relief. The problem is, it makes me loopy- I have a really hard time concentrating on anything (like work!) and don't feel like doing anything but sleeping.
My wife's friend recently sent me a bottle of Hyland's Seasonal Allergy Relief pills (non-drowsy formula for indoor & outdoor allergies.) When I saw on the bottle "100% Natural" I was very skeptical that it would work, probably just another home made mythical remedy.
O.K., I was wrong. It not only worked, I was still able to function without feeling like I was in la-la land. I took one pill, then an hour or so later took another, and I was good for hours. Happy day! When I ran out, I bought a bottle on Ebay at a very reasonable price- way less than in the store. But it would be worth the store price in my opinion.
Just so you know, I'm only writing this review so other people in the same boat have an alternative to getting that doped-up/knocked out feeling in order to relieve allergies. I have no other incentive. YES I highly recommend it.

Get the Ronson brand instead.
Had a Ronson insert but lost that lighter. This brand doesn't seem to hold much butane so I'll have to refill it more often. Not worth sending back but I might get another Ronson to replace it.
