It is portable to seer anywhere. It has a 4 button remote. I turn it on when my husband goes to work with the remote and turn it off when he comes in.

It's a manishly cute recorder that is easy to use. A positive for it, is that it has weight to it. It does NOT feel like a flimsy plastic toy. A+
