The last cool one from a great band.....
Really probably the last great album from Krokodil. This still is more blues based than "Invisible World...." but this also still retains the experimental side in many places. Blues are here....but as with their other earlier albums it's mixed with middle east scales and other musics from around the world. The English language lyrics/vocals sure to help non-Swedish speaking fans (like me) to get a good grip on these tunes. The next album "Sweat and Swim" was a two LP set....and they were obviously losing their way on that other album. But,here you get this cool band at the peak of their powers ,moving to a new label and doing what they do best...."world blues" ,maybe?
Atari Flashback Portable Deluxe Handheld Gaming - AP3228X - MFRB

Great price on 70 classic Atari games , right in your hand...BUT.....
Cool little item,70 games ,and many I never played "in the day" are now my faves. Only wish it had a joystick. Also....do NOT think you will get the Arcade Graphics on these ….these are the block-y Atari Cartridge style graphics. So, just be aware of that fact....and you'll have hours of fun with this little thing. Funny to think that in the old days ….the 70 carts and machine would take-up a whole kitchen table, and now you hold it in you palm.

Milagre dos Peixes by Milton Nascimento (CD, Dec-1992, Intuition Music)

More "progressive?" type of music here........
On ANGELUS Milton seemed to be being subjected to a "tribute" by famous fans of his past work. This might be the album that Jon Anderson (of YES) would have favored? It's not that it's all high-speed keyboard work (like ELP) ,or goofy space lyrics (like some perceive YES),....but this one does have a leaning towards a more instrumental side of Nascimento. The cover art may be a clue to this? But all in all it's a nice album with the artist's penchant for strange chord changes in tact nicely. I've read elsewhere this was due to Brazil's governmental restrictions on musicians at the recording's time. So ....instead of a lot of vocals with interesting music ,we get a more instrumentally angled album with wordless vocals (at times) ,and over all less vocals in general. His "Minas" ,"Geraes", "Clube Da Esquina" albums are more classic in his "regular" unbelievable style with beautiful vocals and tricky , lovely orchestrations over the whole of these albums,.....here you get a more "universal" feel with far less vocals and much more jazzy and experimental music. A very nice diversion......but head for those other three before going here.
