disappointing longevity

for a short time this worked very well. I've bought two of them and they stopped working fairly quickly. the first one stopped charging after about a week. the second one worked for a couple weeks, then it refused to work on high and kept shutting off. I needed the high temp. if this worked properly it would be a wonderful product!! i'd like to contact the maker but can't figure out who they are
