SPEAKER CORD TOO SHORT...
But, first let me say “I Love The Speakers” Great sound!!! My problems lies with the short cord for a desk top PC computer like the picture below. The picture is not a true representation of the speakers on each side of the computer screen. You don’t see the hard drive on the desk do you? If it is like mine on the floor in a desk slot made for it and my screen is on top of my desk. There is “NO” way the cord is going to reach the back of the Hard Drive/computer base. The 39” they show is really designed for a lap top.
You see, when you split the speakers like the below pictures shows from the volume control you have 39” which is nothing. I have a small desk top PC and the monitor/screen is only 15" wide and these speakers barely fit at each end, but only if you have them all the way back against your back drop (wall or desk) Anyone in my setup situation needs 6’-feet to make the speaker set-up work properly. Now I have got to go out and buy an extension of 3’ more to make things work… It cost me $28 for both the extended USB plug and the sound plug for the back of my floor mounted Hard Drive. This doesn’t make me happy. Oh! By the way. Yes! I Should have seen the 39” diagram, but I didn’t. Point being the industry standard is generally 6’-ft. You just don't usually look at the cord when they advertise the speakers for a PC/Lap Top.
I feel strongly they should mention the short cord in their description or say it is best used with a Lap Top unless your Hard Drive Case is on your desk within 39”.
Lastly, I wouldn’t have bought it had I known this up front…
