Bad Adhesive
First the good news. The flex cable works. It was shipped and delivered quickly.
Now the bad news. The adhesive that attaches the flex cable to the ipad frame does not stick. the tackiness is almost non-existent.
I paid a premium price to have the power and volume brackets and the ringer switch already installed so that all I had to do was install the cable. Well, the power bracket fell off almost immediately after removing the product from its packaging. I tried to reattach it but, again, there was no tackiness to the adhesive so it would not stick. The slide switch nub on the ringer switch is a little shorter than the original so much so that it barely rests inside the slide cradle.
I provide this information for anyone else who purchases this flex cable so that they understand what they are walking into before assuming that it is just plug and play. To solve my issues, I used superglue to attach the flex cable sections to the ipad frame and also used the superglue to reattach the bracket to the power button. Not the most ideal of solutions but it worked. I hope I never have to tear into this ipad 2 again because of the superglue.
Again, the flex cable itself works. Its just that it needed A LOT of extra attention to get it to install properly. Was it worth the extra money? I'm not sure. Are everyone's flex cable adhesive just a bad as this one? I don't know...

I expected much better!
A manufacturer refurbished drive should not have errors out of the box. This 4tb drive has severe spin-up time errors and temperature errors according to CrystalDiskInfo Reports. I had a difficult time initializing and formatting the drive when I first received it. I guess that must have been why the seller emphasized that the drive had an extended warranty through 2027. He must have known that they were bad out of the box.
This is not what I expected to have to deal with with a Western Digital Black hard drive. I have bought quite a few of the WD Black drives, both new and used, over the years and have NEVER seen this kind of problem to this extent with the WD Black hdd product line.
I guess it is up to me to contact WD and fight for a warranty replacement now.

Good inexpensive batteries
Good batteries that work. Have 4 years of life left on them. They expire in 2024. Purchased 2 batteries for a Fossil watch. If they last 2 years each, I will have saved over $40 installation fee at Fossil as their batteries only last 1 year each.
