A very crude but functional tool
I bought this to use in my basement brewery, for hoisting wet malt out of my 23 gallon mash tun. The “kit” arrived with a parts list and assembly schematic. Numerous areas of the assembly evidenced flaking paint, indicating either rough handling after painting or poor surface preparation prior. During assembly I encountered several pieces that would not fit together due to poor manufacturing tolerances. I was able to “persuade” them with a hammer and rubber mallet. The wheels in the front fork are pinched and won’t turn. The flat supporting bracket in the back would not line up anywhere near its mounting holes; fortunately it’s not essential. In use, it will do what I need it to do, but I suspect there are better choices out there for not much more money. I would not buy it again.
