Light Weight Tom Set-Up
Yamaha bass drum tom mount is maybe the best, however it requires a 7/8” and 4, I used 5/16” holes, be sure to go easy and drill from both sides to avoid splintering the wood.
This unit comes with all the necessary mounting hardware, screws, washers, nuts, plastic top plate and metal bottom plate. These plates give added strength to this stress area. I mounted this to a bass drum I built but I have 2 other Yamaha kits so I know it’s gonna be durable and as a bonus I can swap out tom arm holders. It might be a bit pricey but what isn’t!

Sturdy lightweight stands.
Compromise is expected, there are no boom stands. I’ve grown accustomed to a nice ball socket tilter on my snare. Also the hi-hat needs to be disassembled to fit in the provided bag, it’s time consuming, and the hi-hat legs do not rotate to accommodate double bass drum pedals. One other issues is the included caring bag is not wide enough to carry a rug for set up. That being said, these stands are very nice, quality, lightweight stands that do the job they were intended to do. Lightweight & compact, for my Jazz gigs they definitely fill the bill.

4 FOR THE PRICE OF 1
This is a very lightweight, and somewhat flimsy design. The height adjustment is a CAM style lever that pivots on a metal pin set in 2 plastic holes, this is not road worthy. The stands come with 2 mic holders, however the threading is plastic and 1 stripped out or cross threaded. Also 1 mic clip attaches to the top of the stand and the boom is height adjustable, it’s somewhat ingenious. That being said in my home studio I can make these work for set and forget situations, such as mic a floor tom or bass drum or have an extra stand for a light condensor mic on a horn. 4 for the price of 1 makes up for their faults. I can recommend these for very light-duty use.
