my first real cookbook
I got married 50 years ago. I didn't know how to boil water. this book was a wedding gift. I spent evenings pouring over the pages until I could cook almost everything in the covers. my copy has been missing for years. so happy to have found it on eBay! its been fun reminiscing about dinner parties we had as a young married couple. with friends and family. its filled with good classic french techniques and loads of beautiful photography. and yes I made the croquembouche with spun sugar. love the memories. great book!

1 of 2 found this helpful This product is if poor design. The plug is in less than ideal position, affecting bedskirt. It also seems to give off more heat around your shoulder area than at the foot where I need it most. However the price was so reasonable and that was a big consideration for me. I ended up switching the head for the foot. That fixed the bedskirt placement and the warmth for me. I sleep low in the bed so it was logical. Nothing better than climbing into a warm bed when you're freezing. I ended up buying one for the guestroom!
