It was very clear that this was GM-specific.

Love it! Allows my small shop to be useable in the wintertime.
Works great to heat up my small (12x18) workshop in a hurry. Currently have R38 in the ceiling, no insulation in the walls (for now). I only heat the shop occasionally and only when necessary, so electric heat made the most sense for me. The built-in thermostat works well but is not especially accurate. In other words, ignore the numbers on the dial and adjust by feel or separate thermometer. The separate on/fan/off switch allows me to turn the unit off without touching my ideal thermostat setting. The fan motor is extremely quiet, heavy-duty, and appears to be US-made, which is important to me. Once the shop gets up to temp, I found that it runs between 10-30% of the time depending on outside temperature and wind. At my local electricity rates, this is about $.03 - $0.11/hr.
