I will love to share this with if I ever have a child. I thought it might have words since it had another author with it but the fact that it doesn't makes it that much more special. I've only so far seen 2 of the books and they are spectacular. I think Mayer is at his best when he depicts a real child instead of a creature, just my opinion. I highly recommend you as a seller and shipper.

Dahl's Chocolate Factory - 55 years old and going strong
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is considered by many to be one of the classic works of the twentieth century fiction for children. The late Roald Dahl is still one of the most popular and best selling authors for children in the world. He wrote this morality fantasy for his own family and it helped establish his career as a children's author. Published in 1964, a first print (identified on the last page by listing the paper manufacturer), is an elusive title and garners high prices when found near pristine condition. Normally the boards of a first are dark red (maroon) but there is a near legendary 'blue' board variant - extremely rare and an elusive edition for any collector.

Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh
One of the truly great books in 20th C. children's literature. A winner of the Newbery award. Unlike the movie based on this book (The Secret of Nimh) the author does a superb job of creating a world where the possibility of super intelligent rats is done without recourse to magical elements.

Roald Dahl at His Best
As the 'Smarties Award' selection is based solely on input from children, Dahl was particularly pleased when 'Matilda' won this award for the best children's book of that year. It became a best-seller and there are two movies and a musical based on the book. With Dahl's usual penchant for nasty people and determined young folk, it's lots of fun for intermediate readers.
