    About what you'd expect.
Convenient boost regulator assembly. The boards themselves are well made but the terminal blocks are very flimsy. I'd remove them and solder wires on for a permanent installation. Boost regulators of this type will run a microprocessor, but they're too noisy for audio without a linear post regulator and extra output caps.

    handy assortment
After sorting my resistor box by value, I realized there were a lot of gaps. This assortment was the most convenient and cheapest way to fill those in. (Sorted into coin envelopes in a shoe box.) Other hobbyist part assortments weren't worth the money but this one was.

    Required rework
It's not obvious from the picture the two cells are wired in parallel. You have to cut one of the connections to use them in series. Then you have to add a wire. The plastic is soft and melts easily. Soldering to the rivets will melt them loose. I ended up soldering a wire halfway up one of the springs.
