FANTASTIC!! See review for Golden age (part 2) and be sure you have BOTH!
Full review under sequel but siffice to say geoffry rush and cate blanchette are spectacular as are the sets, costumes scripts and twists!! Outstanding historical dramas!!

IN MY TOP TEN FOR SURE, maybe top five! (DO treat yourself and get both 1&2)!
2 of 2 found this helpful Cate blanchette is a class act anyway and in these she shines brilliantly, rages believably and loves feircly two men and of course her people. I have watched more times than i can count and will watch yet again i know! The sets are to be seen again and again with so much authentic detail and care. Geoffry Rush is spellbinding to me as well. ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE for anyone even thinking about it!
***also its good to know that there are only a few scenes in both movies combined youd have to be concerned with in my protective moms opinion, i watched for myself first so i knew where.

Funny and (mostly) clean entertainment!
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a comedy series that you can even watch with your family most of the time and when you might want to mute a line you pretty much see it coming. No swearing but some references to marital bliss or somesuch. Hard to come by these days.
