rRevolutionary image maker.
10 of 10 found this helpful This evolutionary picture taking wizard, represents the genius of the Sony camp, and causes one to wonder; whats next? The technology employed for the super bright viewfinder is astounding. Construction and quality of this camera body is all first class, and for the price, a super bargain. Other features, too numerous to cover here, are enough to keep the advanced user chalenged, to reap all the inherent capabilities of this picture taking wonder.

Excellence of Minolta optics.
Despite the plastic mount (which is durable enough for the amateur), and the slow speed of the optics, this lens obtained at a ridiculous low price, demonstrates the excellence of Minolta optics, at all levels of price. Testing the lens for resolution on my Sony A77, i was astonished at the high quality of the image when enlarged, and how favorably it compared to a new high priced zoom by another maker. There is a bargain trove out their waiting for the careful, budget minded user, especially with the broad range of usefulness with higher ISO'S available to the owner of modern digital cameras.
