Replacement Belt For MTD CUB CADET 754-3004 / 954-3004

great value

I decided to try this off label replacement belt for my 1974 Cud Cadet mower deck. The cost was only $10 which included shipping. Locally, this is a $27 purchase plus tax. Only time will tell if the quality is there, I typically get about 8 years out of a deck belt (it isn't a heavily used machine). This belt looks fine and appears to be as well constructed as brand name belts I've used in the past.

I returned it right away, didn't feel confident it would hold up

I decided to return this made in China item based on its construction, Plastic and aluminum with 2 small rivets to connect the handle to the hook seemed weak. It might be okay for light duty, occasional use, but I need a tool to help grab and move 150+ firewood logs around and I couldn't see this tool standing up to the job.

Looks and works great

This knob did the trick. The original had fractured along the mounting shaft rendering it unusable. The only comment I would make was regarding the very tight fit. At first I was worried that it was the wrong knob for the dryer, but I was able to force it on. I just hope that being so tight it won't fracture again over time.
